  • 8/27/08 - Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of the CMXTC935A Temperature Compensated Zener diode packaged in the SUPERmini™ SOT-26 surface mount case. This device has a nominal Zener voltage (VZ) of 9.0V and an impressive maximum allowable voltage change of 95mV observed at -55°C, 0°C, 25°C, 75°C and 100°C. The CMXTC935A is ideal for applications requiring outstanding voltage stability over the specified temperature range. Typical end products include: test equipment, sensor circuits, and security devices.

  • 7/30/08 - Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of two new Multi Discrete Module™ devices, which combine an isolated transistor and an isolated rectifier manufactured in the TLM832D Tiny Leadless Module™ (TLM™) package. The CTLM1034-M832D is comprised of a 40V, 1.0A low V CE(SAT) NPN transistor and 40V, 1.0A low V F Schottky rectifier. The complementary CTLM1074-M832D is comprised of a 40V, 1.0A low V CE(SAT) PNP transistor and 40V, 1.0A low V F Schottky rectifier. Both devices are ideal for a wide variety of portable battery powered circuit applications including: DC-DC converters, switching circuits, and LCD backlighting. End products include: cell phones/smart phones, digital cameras, notebook PCs, MP3 players, etc.

  • 5/28/08 - Central Semiconductor Corp., announces the release of the ultra tiny CMASH-4 Schottky diode in the SOD-923 package. This new FEMTOmini™ device is a high quality 40V, 200mA Schottky diode with a forward voltage drop (VF) of 0.38V maximum at 1.0mA and a switching speed (trr) of 5ns maximum. Designed for applications requiring an energy efficient fast switching diode in an ultra small package, the CMASH-4 in the SOD-923 utilizes 55% less board space as compared to the SOD-523 package, and has a 48% lower package profile making it ideal for most portable handheld electronic devices such as: SMART phones, Cell phones, Digital Cameras, MP3 players, GPS systems, Notebook PCs, and Camcorders.

  • 4/15/08 - Central Semiconductor announces the release of the CMAD6001 ultra low leakage diode in the SOD-923 package. This new device is a high quality 100V, 250mA diode with an extremely low leakage current (IR) of 0.5nA max., and low capacitance of 2.0pF max. Designed for applications requiring an energy efficient diode in an ultra small package, the CMAD60001 in the FEMTOmini™ SOD-923 package utilizes 55% less board space compared to the SOD-523 package, and with a maximum height of 0.41mm, is 48% lower in profile making it ideal for the latest applications for Industrial and Telecom designs. Circuit applications include: reverse polarity protection, signal line protection, secondary side rectification, inverters, DC regulators, and power management applications.

  • 3/18/08 - Central Semiconductor announces the release of the FEMTOmini™ CMNT3904E (NPN) and CMNT3906E (PNP) Low VCE(SAT) transistors, packaged in the ultra tiny SOT-953 surface mount package. These new transistors are designed with enhanced specifications including: a maximum Collector-Base Voltage of 60V (Standard PNP devices are 40V max.), a maximum Emitter-Base Voltage of 6.0V (standard PNP devices are 5.0V max.), and a maximum VCE(SAT) of 0.2V at 50mA (standard devices are 0.3V for NPN and 0.4V for PNP).  <more>
